How Promoted Listings Work
Get top placement in browse results — and only pay when your listing sells.
What is a Promoted listing?
A Promoted listing appears at the top of browse results and in the "What's Trending" section on the StoneFjord homepage. It also displays a teal "Promoted" badge on the listing card. Promotion is available for all three listing types: Local Market items, Local Services, and Local Events.
Pay-per-sale — you only pay when it works
StoneFjord uses a pay-per-sale model for promoted listings. There is no upfront charge and no monthly fee. A 3% promotional fee is deducted from your payout only when your promoted listing results in a completed sale. If nothing sells, you pay nothing.
How to promote a listing
Go to My Account → My Listings. Find the listing you want to promote and click the edit icon. Scroll to the Promotion section and click "Promote this listing." Your listing is marked as Promoted immediately — no payment required upfront.
How long does promotion last?
Promotion stays active until you turn it off. There is no expiry date. For event listings, promotion automatically ends when the event date passes. You can remove promotion at any time from your listing's edit page.
You're all set!
